History of the World Taekwondo, Indonesia, 

Taekwondo originated from Korea. The word Taekwondo itself is divided into three meanings, namely: Tae = Foot, Kwon = Hand, Do = way. If combined have a good sense of the philosophy of martial arts to help and respect for fellow creatures of God through the physical (hands, feet, body and his mind) and spiritual (self-control and relationship with God) as a weapon beladirinya and conquer his opponent.
Taekwondo was first discovered in the 37th century BCE (BC). It can be seen from the way the development of Taekwondo along with the development of cultural ancestors of the State of South Korea.

 
Taekwondo IN TIMES Koguryo Dynasty
The ancestors of the Korean nation consisting of some tribes after the neolithic era has had a variety of sporting activities in any religious ceremony or ritual in order to boost their courage in battle.
Taekwondo was first found to originate from the Koguryo dynasty right in the territory of South Korea in the 37th century BC. Taekwondo THE DURATION AND YI DYNASTY GOREA

Taekwondo DEVELOPMENTS IN MODERN TIMES
In 1943, after the martial arts of Judo, Karate and Kung Fu first entered the Korean and Korean-known until independence in 1945, the Korean people who are interested in trying to perfect the game of Taekwondo Taekwondo became a tradition of martial arts are not as good. Finally on July 17, 1980, the International Olympic Committee / IOC (International Olympic Committee) acknowledged and accepted Taekwondo as one of the official Olympic sport which is under the auspices of the WTF. Kim Un Yong himself appointed as one of the IOC when it's caretaker. But now President of the WTF was replaced by Dr. Woon Kyu Uhm.
 
Taekwondo HISTORY IN INDONESIA


In Month May 1972 several students who had studied Taekwondo Indonesia in West Germany, in vacation time they returned to Indonesia in Jakarta looking for Taekwondo Education to continue the exercises together. By coincidence there is a black belt in Taekwondo comes from the Netherlands named Mouritsz Dominggus (Indonesia origin residents Ambon) has opened a Taekwondo College in Tanjung Priok. Given the period martial arts of Karate is much more popular to the development of Taekwondo is difficult to move, then set the strategy Mouritsz Dominggus merge into PERKINO Karate College, led by Harry Tomatala. From a combination of both self-defense system generates KATAEDO Education (Karate Taekwondo).


The help of one of his parents KATAEDO physician named Joseph, and in collaboration with Prof. Kim Ki Ha (Chairman of the Korean Association in Indonesia), KATAEDO managed to attract the attention of the South Korean embassy in Jakarta. Instigation of the South Korean government to be eliminated for the sake of the purity of the elements of Karate Taekwondo, then on July 15, 1974 formed the Institute of Taekwondo Indonesia (INTIDO) where Prof. Kim Ki Ha as his adviser. On the advice of his, INTIDO Board met with South Korean ambassador and his help, Prof. Kim Ki Ha sent to South Korea to attend the General Session II WTF on August 27, 1975 in Seoul. It was he who fought INTIDO to be accepted as a member WTF.Untuk eligible WTF, then INTIDO converted into Taekwondo Federation Indonesia (FTI) by Marshal Younger Sugiri chairperson. On the advice of his order to enhance the quality and performance in Indonesia Taekwondo, the WTF sent a trainer named Kim Tae Yeong (AND V) a former World Heavyweight Champion.
So on June 17, 1976, officially became a member of the WTF FTI.


In the history of the development of Taekwondo in Indonesia, there are two organizations that FTI and PTI Taekwondo (Taekwondo Association of Indonesia).
On March 28, 1981 there has been a new history for the world of Taekwondo Indonesia. At that time I have held National Congress, followed by 2 Taekwondo martial arts organizations in Indonesia where the FTI led by Air Vice Marshal Sugiri and led by Lieutenant General Leo Lopulisa PTI. From the discussion it has produced a new management that has disatukannya two organizations into one parent organization the only Taekwondo WTF and KONI is recognized by the Executive Board of Taekwondo Indonesia (PBTI) up to now which chairperson is Mr Wibowo Sarwo with the direct shield from the Chairman Mr. Surono KONI Center.


Under his kepimimpinan, Taekwondo in Indonesia is growing rapidly. Proven in a short time has Regional Board and Executive Branch in the entire province in Indonesia. So many achievements and the quality can be achieved both in national and international events.
Currently Chairman of PBTI been held 4 times until now, namely:
a. Mr. Jend. Army (Ret.) Sarwo Wibowo
b. Mr. Letjend. Army (Ret.) Harsudiyono Hartas
c. Mr Maj. Gen. Suharto in March
d. Army Lt. Gen. Erwin Mr. Sudjono, SH (2007 to present)

 
HISTORY OF EDUCATION Taekwondo TETA


Indeed PBTI Education was established to accommodate a variety of Taekwondo initiated and managed several Taekwondo Coach from Indonesia who developed Taekwondo in Indonesia. One of the Taekwondo coach named Hadi Sugianto (now AND VI) since 1973 to develop Taekwondo in the region Jelambar, West Jakarta. One of his students named Bimoadji (now AND IV) along with other students who founded the college to further develop the new Taekwondo Taekwondo achievements under the auspices of the organization namely Hadi Hadi Sugianto's Taekwondo Association (cubits), which was founded around the year 1982.
Bimoadji own college founded on the advice of Taekwondo after Sabeumnim (Master) Hadi Sugianto because he Bimoadji perceived by rating it deserves develop Taekwondo after studying with him and also in addition to some other coaches that Johan Hasan (now AND V), Tatuhay (AND I) and Master / Sabeumnim Hanny Lim (AND VII) from Korea are also recommended by Hadi Sugianto. Finally on March 4, 1988, founded the college Sabeumnim Bimoadji named TETA Taekwondo Club. Along with the development of quality, quantity and achievements of graduates increased TETA TETA Club and Club, which opened a new college again, Sabeumnim Bimoadji club felt the element should be removed and must be returned to the institute martial more weight again. So TETA Club since 1998 turned into a university Taekwondo TETA.


Taekwondo TETA colleges since its inception in 1988 has established its commitment to develop a Taekwondo martial arts in a pure and uphold high discipline and sportsmanship to the students that learning can be extensive achievements not only in Taekwondo but also the environment in the wider community through character, disciplines and skills instilled by Taekwondo College TETA. Now the University Taekwondo TETA has 4 Divisions that can maximize the development of Taekwondo martial arts are:
